We’re thrilled to have made friends with the lovely people at Keep Britain Tidy – the organisation which promotes sustainable consumption through reducing waste and preventing littering.
Keep Britain Tidy are a charity who have worked with the Wombles ever since the 1970s to promote litter-picking, environmental awareness, and waste-reduction, and they’re still at it – take a look at what they did with Kirstie Allsopp for the Queen’s birthday in 2016.
I’m very excited to be working with KBT on their new Journal of Environmental Quality and Litter, which will help innovate and grow best practice in social innovation for environmental behaviour-change. To celebrate this new partnership, KBT kindly donated one of their fridge-magnets and an Eco-Schols trolley token to my memorabilia collection – the magnet image was one used in the 1970s, and I have a whole range of KBT memorabilia from across the years here.
